Eligibility Questions

To check if you are eligible to apply for this funding round, complete the questions below:

Are you applying as a recognised community band located in Regional NSW? * Required
For the purpose of this program, a ‘community band’ is defined as a concert band or brass band or string ensemble composed of musicians representing a specific community, geographic area or community entity. 
Has your community band received funding from Create NSW (either directly or through devolved grant programs) in the previous 12 months? * Required
Devolved grant programs include grants from Bands Association of NSW and Regional Arts Development Organisations.
Is your application for contemporary music? * Required
The definition of contemporary music can be found here. For all Sound NSW grant opportunities, you can locate them here.
Does the applicant have an Australian Business Number (ABN)? * Required

Eligible applicants cannot be one of the following entities:

  • insolvent 
  • a for-profit organisation or business 
  • an individual 
  • a partnership 
  • an unincorporated association 
Is the applicant one of the above entity types? * Required
Do you have a bank account or can provide evidence of having applied for a bank account? * Required
