To be eligible, applicants must be one of the following legal entity types:

  • a NSW Cultural Institution
  • an incorporated trustee on behalf of a trust
  • an incorporated association
  • a joint (consortia) application with a lead organisation as the primary applicant
  • a registered charity or not-for-profit organisation
  • a tertiary institution currently delivering programs for the creative industries sector
  • an NSW local government body
  • an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander Corporation

Does the applicant have an Australian Business Number (ABN)? * Required
Is the applicant registered for GST? * Required
Does the applicant have a business account with an Australian financial institution? * Required
Is the applicant solvent? * Required
Is the project being delivered by a NSW Cultural Institution, or with/by an existing festival or event with more than 5,000 attendees? * Required
The festival or event must have a primary focus on arts, culture or creative industries activity, such as arts, screen or music.
Is the project a genuine collaboration across multiple artistic practices? * Required
Will the proposed project activities be delivered in NSW? * Required
Will the majority of the project activity be delivered during either the summer period from December to February or the winter period from June to August? * Required
Activity may also be delivered outside these periods, but the majority of the project activity must occur during the summer or winter period between 1 January 2027 and 29 February 2028.
